Starlight Hills (1 sub-board) Located far north, the Starlight Hills are one of the most peaceful paces in that land of Taira. They are also the location of the North Kingdom and the Silver Castle. The North Kingdom represents all that is good, powers of light, and is the enemy of the southern half of the land. Hidden within the many towering hills lies that castle, which is said to stretch so far into the sky that its highest towers touch the clouds. The Starlight Hills also have a well earned name. For, at night, even though most areas would be enveloped in darkness, the moon and stars shine brightest over the hills. The Village The Village is where most of the activities of Taira take place. Various festivities are held here quite often, and there is a variety of unique events to do. It is also the place where trade takes place, and is usually pretty crowded. There are also many shops in such in the Village. Whatever you need... You'll be sure to find it here. Sunshine Clearing (1 sub-board) Sunshine clearing is one of the most peaceful places in Taira. The clearing itself stretches across a large expanse of land, filled with long, lush, green grass. There are also exotic flowers of all kinds growing throughout it. The clearing is a very beautiful place, quite breathtaking if you take the time to look. And that is only half of it... For, lying at the end of the stretch of grass and unique flowers is a waterfall. Water cascades down into a small valley, leading to a whole other area. Also, the Sunshine Clearing is the only place in Taira that is perfectly safe. Not even the strongest demons dare venture this far out, knowing very well what great powers of light lie within the boundaries of the clearing. Moderator: Tristan

Demon's Forest The Demon's Forest is quite different from the sunshine filled lands of Taira. In fact, it is a place of pure evil. The forest wasn't always like this though. In its earlier days, the forest was a place of peace, often used for meetings between the two sides of the kingdom. However, things changed greatly after the first battle. Victory of the North half of the kingdom, led to utter destruction of the South half. Its kingdom was devastated, allowing the eerie demons that dwelled inside its walls to escape, wandering out into the surrounding forest. The forest is also very dark, appearing to almost always be night, due to the way the trees grow so densely together. And it is quite easy to become lost within the dark trees and mists. Those who have claimed themselves brave enough to enter the forest, have never returned. So, be warned... Once you venture into the Demon's Forest, you may never come out. Moderator: Tristan

Black Mountains (1 sub-board) The Black Mountains are located in the southern half of Taira, the location of the south kingdom. The mountains are a pretty dangerous place... First off, they are used to dump bandits and such that have been caught, acting as a prison for them. And then there's the fact that the dark, south kingdom dwells within them. It was said that after the first battle between the North and South, the South had been eliminated. However, that was completely untrue, a lie. Though the northerners believed they had removed all traces of the southern kingdom, there were still some survivors. Among those survivors, the young princess. And, of course, the kingdom was slowly rebuilt in secret, slowly regianing its power. Many dark secrets and plots occur within the Black Mountains... Though some are darker than others. Cursed School The Cursed School is like any other school. However, isn't called that for nothing, it has a well earned name. Many years ago, a group of students was killed, murdered. However, the exact cause of their mysterious deaths was never figured out. In fact, their deaths were hardly even investigated. Now, today, many eery things tend to happen at the school. No one has ever actually been harmed in these incidents... But, some believe that the venegful spirits of the past students are behind it. Other than that, the school is perfectly safe... City of Deception The City of Deception is located in the center of Kanasha. It is where all the major activities and events take place. There are a variety of restaraunts and shops here, and it serves as a good place to have fun and relax. However, there's a catch. The city isn't safe. There have been many disappearances of people, and even mysterious murders here. Most people only see what is in front of them, seeing is believing for them. However, there are those few have looked deeper... And what they discovered left them shocked. So, when you enter the City of Deception, keep this in mind... Nothing is as it seems. Jinxed Amusement Park Depending on how you view things, the Jinxed Amusement Park can either be the funnest place on earth, or the most terrifying experience of your life. It is said that long ago one of the park's roller coasters ran off the track, killing all the people who had boarded the ride. Not long after that strange things began to happen around the park. The rides started acting strange... And slowly they began to break down, one by one. People also started dying mysterious deaths while on the rides. So, for the safety of the citizens, the amusement park was shut down. However, it was recently reopened, the owners saying that they had fixed all the rides. Though, the amusement park is a little different now. It has taken on a new name, and the rides have all been changed. Each ride has been rebuilt with scary pranks inside it, meant to scare the customers. However, this is all fake. Or, most of it, that is. They say it's safe... But is it really? Moderator: Tristan
Haunted Hotel For many years, the Haunted Hotel has been the talk of the town. It is said that long ago a horrible fire broke out inside the hotel. Everyone was able to escape... except the residents of the third floor. They were left to die, locked inside the hotel as it was slowly devoured by the fire. Now, within the past few years, many people have ventured into the hotel, daring to prove the stories wrong. However, none of them have ever come back out... alive. Darkhill Manor Located north of the Haunted Glen is Darkhill Manor. Like everything else in the land of Mystere', Darkhill Manor holds many secrets. It is said that hundreds of years ago it was home to a royal family. But strange things began happen and slowly the members of the family disappeared. Some say that they wandered off into the Haunted Glen at night, lured there my the mysterious noises. Others say that a mysterious illness infected them, slowly killing them off. And some even say that they were murdered in the manor, and that their spirits still roam around in search of vengeance. But, no one reall knows, except the current owner of the manor, Sangha. The Secret Cabin The Secret Cabin is one of the many mysteries of the land. It is said that in the heart of the Shadowed Forest lies an old cabin that was abandoned many years ago. The cabin is perfectly normal, except for one condition - There is a one room inside it that holds supernatural powers. No one has ever lived to tell about what is inside that room. However, some say that angry ghosts or spirits have caused this. Why? Because in that very room they were locked inside for days...months - and they never came out. Shadowed Forest This is Mystere's share of the forest. Like the land it thrives on, the forest is full of undiscovered secrets. The trees in this forest are so dense that barely any sunlight gets through, causing it to be foggy and dark - almost like swamp lands. In the early 1900's people entered these woods and got lost, most never coming out again. Some say that if you listen hard enough you will be able to hear the whispers and pleas of the ghosts of those who got lost and still wander the woods, searching for a way out. Plagued Shore This is the beach...if you could even call it that, that is. The difference between a beach and this place is that at a beach you hang out with your friends, meet new people, and you have fun. But not here. Here you aren't safe - you are in danger. The Plagued Shore lies just outside Darkhill Manor. The water is always freezing cold, never warm - not even in the summer. No matter how hot it is outside, the water never heats up. No one knows the reason why this occurs. A long time ago, a plague spread through the land of Mystere', killing almost its whole population. The plague was different from most diseases, however. There was no cure for it and the conditions that those who caught it suffered through were un-natural to the human world. The plague started at the shore, and slowly worked its way through the land. Haunted Glen To the south of the Shadowed Forest lies an unexplored glen. Deep within this narrow valley more secrets await. During the day there seems to be nothing mysterious about the glen. However, when the sun disappears behind the mountains and night sets in, strange sounds can be heard. One of the sounds said to be heard is a strange howling. However, the cry isn't natural - it is distorted in a way indescribable to humans. Other sounds consist of cries for help, chains being dragged, and frantic screaming. Kindai Palace This is an old palace that was built hundreds of years ago by the people of the ancient Kindai civilization. The palace is enormous and is decorated with much skill. There are unique designs stretching across the walls of the palace, of what appear to be brightly colored flowers. Inside the palace lives a beautiful princess, along with her servants. Cliffs of Peril The Cliffs of Peril are a stretch of huge mountains that cut through the Amazon Forest. They tower above everything, stretching so high into the sky that they pass the clouds. Their name was a well given one... The Kindai named the cliffs long ago, seeing as how every person who attempted to climb to the top failed. Most either fell or were killed by the supernatural creatures that roam the mountainside. Despite the hot and humid conditions of the Amazon Forest, the Cliffs of Peril are freezing cold once you near the top. Since they stretch so far up into the sky, the tops are covered in snow. Amazon Forest Like all the other Lands, Zarata also has a share of the forest. However, Zarata's forest is made up of tropical plants, being more of a jungle. The forest surrounds the palace from all sides, sheltering it from the outside world. Set up hundreds of years ago, by the Kindai, are many traps that have not yet been triggered. Tropical Beach Looking for somewhere to just relax or have fun? Well then, the Tropical Beach is just the place. The water is warm, the sky seems to always be sunny, tropical flowers are scattered everywhere, and the sand is soft and warm. Paradise, right? Wrong. See, there's a catch. The beach actually lures people and creatures to it because of it's perfect appearance. However, once you venture out into the water...things change. In the ocean are many exotic creatures, very dangerous ones, too, including the native sharks. Also, the beach gives off illusions occasionally. However, the illusions will trap you there forever, almost like a mirage in the desert. But, aside from that... The beach truly is like paradise. As long as you don't go into the water... Caverns of Hell If you ever venture to The Cliffs of Peril, you will find the Caverns of Hell close by. They are embedded in the side of the moutains, leading deep inside. However, the entrance is almost impossible to find, seeing as it is covered in vines and such after beind unused for hundreds of years. But, if you do happen to come across the entrance...Then you might be in luck. It is said that there is treasure hidden deep within the mountains. In order to find the treasure you must first overcome the many winding passageways and tunnels that connect the caverns. One wrong turn and you might be lost forever. That is how the caverns got their name, The Caverns of Hell, because so many people died trying to find the treasure. Like many things in the land of Zarata, there's a catch. Plot Summary

And what lies beyond the dark forest is far worse. As darkness stirs in the forest, the southern kingdom is awakening as well. Soon, the old rivalry between the north and south will be rekindled. The only hope is a runaway princess, a long forgotten prince, and their small group of enchanted followers. But will they be in time to stop the two kingdoms from destroying each other?
